Delicious Vegan Toast Toppings
Most of us may stick with our normal toast routines of peanut butter or avocado toast - We have teamed up with the gorgeous Hannah behind @twospoons.ca to bring you 3 delicious vegan toppings to help you mix things up!Gourmet Peanut Butter & Banana Toast
VEGAN - VEGETARIAN - DAIRY-FREE - SOY-FREE
Ingredients:
- 4 slices whole grain bread
- 4-6 tbsp all-natural peanut butter, plus more if desired
- honey to drizzle, or maple syrup
- granola to sprinkle
- chia to sprinkle
- coconut shavings to sprinkle
Directions:
- Toast slices of whole grain bread and spread each with all-natural peanut butter.
- Chop bananas and decorate onto each toast slice. Drizzle each slice with honey, and sprinkle with granola, chia and coconut shavings.
Gourmet Hazelnut & Strawberry Toast
VEGAN - VEGETARIAN - DAIRY-FREE - SOY-FREE
Ingredients:
- 4 slices whole grain bread
- 2-3 tbsp dark chocolate hazelnut spread, or to taste
- 250g (approx. 10) fresh strawberries
- hemp hearts and chia seeds, to sprinkle
Directions:
- Toast bread slices until golden, then lather with dark chocolate hazelnut spread.
- Thinly slice fresh strawberries and layer over-top of toast. Sprinkle with hemp hearts and chia.
